Honor Charlie:  Ditch Existing Universities

So look, impassioned young person: I’ve been listening to how much you loved Charlie Kirk, how much he meant to you. I am moved by your seeking to honor him, and I think some of you should listen to his widow, and seriously consider joining a Turning Point USA group.

That will be easier for those of you, of course, who are students enrolled at one of our standard colleges or universities.

The same institutions Charlie said are scams.

Yes, he admitted that you may need the college degree for the about half the jobs you might want to pursue, i.e., that in existing circumstances a calculation made by some of you to submit to the scam, is understandable. If you do that in his spirit, you get what you can’t elsewhere—that diploma—from a recognized college; but, you don’t get taken in by its brochure-talk about its “community values,” “critical thinking,” and “respect for differing viewpoints.” Your person will be there, but you don’t expect much of anything from it for your soul, mind, and heart.
